  … or “The Tenacious Vee” as I’ve been calling him lately has probably done more to promote and bring new tgirl models to the public eye than any other person - period. He’s been working with me for over 8 years and his stamina. vigour and ability to get the newest, freshest models no matter if he is in his home city of NY or on a travel to Florida, California, Boston, Chicago or Canada, always amazed me. When other photographers go to a brand new city on a shooting trip they might come back with 7 models over a 5 day period, Tony will return with 20.Responsible for bringing models like Lisa Kage, Amber Vaughn, Aniyah Red, Allanah Starr, Carmen Cruz and more to the internet for the first time, his real quality for me, if continuing to find new fresh talent - and the ability to never take a potential models refusal to pose, as a final answer.

  I’ve shared some great adventures with Tony over the years, the first video we shot in NYC together (Kitty, Lisa Kage, Amanda, BamBam, etc.), shooting in a public park in Long Island, stumbling out of Rudy’s Bar in Manhatten after a few drinks in the afternoon and literally tripping over a tranny - 20 mins later we’re shooting her in her apartment.
  Tony and I have been to Vegas together (we managed to talk two average looking black tgirls we’d just met into coming and doing a shoot for us, they showed up the next day, well dressed and excited - we started the shoot, only to find they were actually two average looking gender girls ….), to Brazil (a Brazilian transsexual that Tony had hooked up caused a scene in the hotel lobby while he was in his room and got all of us banned from the hotel! We’ve also been to Thailand which introduced him to the ways of the Asian women!

  Joey Silvera, who arguably started the modern TS porn style, even reveres how Tony shoots and the girls he gets (many girls would never have appeared in Rogue Adventures if it wasn’t for Tony and Joey’s friendship).

  As part of our Birthday month, we’re doing two Girls of the Month, for August but if we had more room I would have also squeezed Carmen in as a Girl of the Month as she’s so much of what we like at Shemale Yum, fresh, new, cute and fun. In the 10 years since I’ve been at the helm of this site, I don’t know how many new girls we’ve showcased on the site (but will try and do a count!) but it’s always exciting to get someone new whom I know is going to set the internet on fire. Allanah’s first internet photoshoot was on this site, I think Wendy Williams was also, Joanna Jet, Holly Sweet, the late Lisa Kage, Nefertiti were some of our earlier girls who went on to be stars - more recently, Khloe Hart, Jessica, Sexy Jade & Danika are just some of our more recent models whom have caused a stir in more than a few pants. In fact, if you look throughout the last 10 years, almost every transsexual erotica model, working in the US has started with us - or we’ve managed to get good sets early in their careers.
  Most sites out there, which I don’t have to name, base their shooting schedules on who they see is popular on our site. They let our budget dollar take the risk and then when they see a popular model, step in and offer a shoot to capitalise on it. It’s a good business plan but it’s also the reason they’ll always be behind us. When we can get models like Khloe, Katt, Carmen on this weeks update, Girl of the Month’s Nadja or Kamely then I’m going to be more excited, the photographers get a bigger kick out of doing their jobs and the paying members, know that although we may take some risks, most of the time it pays off - sometimes ten fold when we showcase these special girls first.

  This is your site as well as ours. When we find a new model first, you share in it - and in many circumstances it’s been site members who have first forwarded a potential new model to us, or referred this site to a specific model who was unsure about posing.

• Shemale Yum Birthday Day 10/11: A Tail of Two Tina’s

  11th August 2007 - Day 10/11 - A Tail of Two Tinas.

  As I missed yesterdays (Friday’s update) due to another committment, we see two Birthday girls on todays Birthday Special. They’re both called Tina - and they’ve both worked for us multiple times. The first Tina is from Canada but was last shot by Trigger in London, the 2nd is from NY and shot by Tony Vee originally but this set is by Buddy Wood as she appears in Buddy Wood’s Black Tranny Hootenanny.

  Only two people got the “seanchai city” competition right. I started Shemale Yum when I lived in London but soon after that (mainly because of the UK climate at the time on adult material) I moved to … Amsterdam … where I lived for two years before moving to Honolulu. So both the members who got it right, will get a ONE YEAR each membership to Shemale Yum.

  Birthday girl of the day, Mandy is one of my favourite models of the last year. Photographed by Frank Drachman who has a tap into these alternative-type tgirls, she has a look and attitude that just comes across as very cool. Lovely girl, whom I’ve chatted to in the last few months and I’d love to see in a DVD. • Shemale Yum Birthday Day 8 : Wendy Williams Wednesday

  Never the shy one when it comes to self-promotion, Wendy was one of the first girls to respond when I mentioned it was Shemale Yum’s 10th Birthday and she sent in a sackful of goodies to give-away to lucky winners! Wendy of course, first appeared here over 5 years ago, shot by the eponymous Video Bob, in Florida when he was stomping his mark over that state (find out more on Video Bob, one of our early photographers by reading his obituary here. She has since became one of the most instantly recognisable transsexuals working in porn and originally in conjunction with Joanna Jet, built her DVD and website empire up as well as being vocal within the industry, that if you don’t know who Wendy Williams is - you don’t know shemale porn!

  Wendy has her own website at Hot Wendy Williams, she is on this months Transformation magazine and she was an AVN Nominee for “Transsexual Performer of the Year” - something I’m sure she’ll be repeating in 2007 and I heard a rumour that she’ll be … nah, you’ll have to wait to hear that from her.
