It’s not often that we get actual handwritten letters mailed to the office, but when we do, I can almost always guarantee that they’re going to be blog worthy. The other day we received a letter from a guy inquiring about some Japanese shemales and looking for some free content.

We’re always looking for male models. Could this be the new Shemale Yum Face of 2009? Hazel Tucker was the inaugural winner of 2008 (although it could just have easily been Chrissy) and I called Khloe Hart out as a star on the very first photo I saw of her, so I’ve a good batting average when it comes to tgirl stars.

Sometimes it’s hard to get new male performers, especially for our Transexdomination website, which is why you often see the same males in many scenes. We’ve really had some weedy or strange performers in that site but they’re often genuine subs so it works for the context of a shemale dominating male site.

Grooby Comics #10 – Buddy Wood causes famous TS Pornstar to “fall off the wagon”.

Outrageous as it sounds, this is completely true. Buddy went to pick up a very famous shemale star to do a shoot with and she insisted on stopping on the way so he could “meet some friends”. Ok this is a few years back – so long ago in fact, it was Allanah Starr’s first ever video shoot (so around 2002 I think) and she’d only ever appeared on one shoot on Shemale Yum. We’d flown her out to Vegas where we were shooting and she was a bit nervous. I’d spent some time with her discussing what we were going to do for the shoot and when she was ready, I told her the second cameraman was going to come over.
The second cameraman, was a photographer we had called “Video Bob” from Florida. He was 50, over-weight, dreadful unclean teeth and really thought he was a great looking guy.
Allanah is ready for the shoot, second camerman Bob came into the room, said “Hello” and then went to the bathroom. He came out wearing nothing but his Y-Fronts!
Allanah looked at me in shock like it was a set-up (years before Ashton Kutchner had thought of it) – I looked at Allanah and then at Bob .. “What the fuck are you doing Bob?” … “It gets hot under the lights” He replied.
“Fuck that, she doesn’t want to see you when she’s meant to be getting horny”.
Allanah pulled off a great show and a great scene. A total professional but she never, ever warmed up to Bob. He died a couple of years later when his heart give up – he was a large man and he lived his life, larger.

As ridiculous as this cartoon is … it’s basically true. Frank, Damazo and myself were in the Amazon, for once not hunting trannys but on an ecological camp and just seeing the world. We went to an area renowned for it’s monkeys. Here’s where the artistic license comes into play. There weren’t any wig wearing shemales with us. There was however, a toupe/weave wearing Brazilian photographer … but I thought it would be unfair to out him in this cartoon … oops 
We’re looking up at a tree and this monkey comes down. I just comment on how it’s the exact same colour as Damazo’s rug when it jumps down and starts trying to hump his head. The weave was well attached (luckily … or not so) so he fought it off, as Frank and I, cried with laughter.

I really thought is we were going to win, it should have been this year. Buddy Wood’s Shemale Superstars was easily the best contender in the Best Transsexual Release – and starred probably one of the best line ups ever – Yasmin Lee, Olivia Love, Vicki Richter, Khloe Hart and Danielle Foxx. The scenes were excellent but the DVD really stood alone in what it tried to do, which was to find out more about the girls as it followed them around and interviewed them. It was well edited and it’s sold like crazy.

As per fucking usual, AVN – who know nothing about the transsexual scene or the likes, awarded the DVD to a company which spends a lot more advertising dollar than we do. I’m not saying that the winner, “America’s Next Top Tranny 2″ was a bad film, it wasn’t, it was good – but it wasn’t near Shemale Superstars.
So I’m doing as I preach so often. Putting my money where my mouth is. We spend over $75,000 a year with the AVN network advertising mainly Groobybucks – so fuck them, I’ll pull the advertising and spend it elsewhere. While we might not be able to match the AVN winners advertising dollar and get a win ourselves, I’m certainly not going to continue to endorse them.

I’d forgot I was meant to be giving the true stories behind our increasingly popular comic strip series. Almost all the stories have some basis in truth – and sometimes the truth is stranger than the fiction!
I’ll catch up on the last few here.
Who else but Frank of course? We were both shooting cute Vietnamese tranny Kiana in Los Angeles back in about 2001. We’re still not sure exactly what the tattoo does say!
