Olivia Love. Superstar.
Trans adult industry legend Olivia Love passed away from her battle with cancer on September 19, 2024. According to a personal source, Love was surrounded by friends and family.
“Olivia Love was one of the trailblazing generation of trans models in the 1990s who made the leap from VHS to the internet, long before trans erotica was widely accepted,” said Grooby CEO Steven Grooby. “I was lucky enough to get to know her, first meeting her at the Queen Mary on Ventura Blvd. in the late 1990s and at parties and productions over the following decade. She was a vivacious, extremely funny girl, and a very important actress who appeared in hundreds of scenes, never letting the fact she was deaf hinder her in any way whatsoever. This is a very sad loss, and someone who was enjoying her life after porn, as a dog groomer in Florida.”
Longtime Grooby producer Buddy Wood added, “When I first started in this industry, there were a handful of girls that were trans porn superstars from the 90s and early 2000’s and Olivia Love was definitely one of them. I was so nervous when I first met her, but we became very good friends and worked together often. There was a time when she and Morgan Bailey were always together, and we had some of the best times of my life!”
“In the early 2000s, I arrived in Los Angeles and met Olivia Love through our mutual friend, Buddy Wood,” added performer Morgan Bailey. “The three of us shared wild adventures—memories that remain vivid in my heart. But beyond Olivia, I came to know Crystal. Learning sign language brought us closer, creating a bond that transcended friendship. She became like a sister to me. Though time and distance caused us to drift apart, I hold tight to the moments we shared. Crystal’s love, laughter, and spirit will live on in my heart and the stories we continue to tell. Rest easy, sweet lady.”
Domino Presley said, “Olivia Love was a true legend in our industry. Her smile and laugh could light up a room. I am sad to hear of her passing and wish her loved ones the best during this time.”
Olivia Love debuted on GroobyGirls.com in 1999, in her first shoot with Bob Maverick. According to IAFD.com, Love amassed an impressive 147 scene credits over the length of her career. She was an AVN Awards nominee and a TEA Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. She is considered one of the most well-known performers in the trans adult industry.
She eventually retired from the adult industry and eventually relocated to Florida where she enjoyed her life as a dog groomer.

I met Olivia a couple of times at the Queen Mary back in the early 2000’s. We danced and I bought her drinks but never got the nerve to go further. I knew I would end up liking her too much but because of the social climate of those times, and even now, I kept it to dancing. Knew a few others from then as well, like Meghan Chevalier and Brandy. I now live in Thailand and have a ladyboy girlfriend and its amazing. I wish I had been a braver person back then.
