Braelyn is one of our relatively new models that come sporadically from SE Texas - generally Corpus Christi which might seem like it has more tgirls than usual. Destinee (see below), Tiffany aka Holly, Kayla Taylor to name just a few have all lived there in the past years. Is this because this is the home town of Shemale Yum photographer, The Commander?
PHOTOGRAPHER PROFILE - The Commander
I’m not sure if there would not be a Shemale Yum without the Commander, maybe some other horny, gun toting, beer drinking, NY replanted to Texas would have came along - and maybe he would have made tranny hunting trips South of the border into the now outlaw town of Laredo … and then again, maybe they wouldn’t have. There have been pretenders to the title of Tranny Hunter but the true original is The Commander.
Shemale Yum started as a site with users giving their personal or collected images for the site - at this time it was a free site - and one of the first users to submit some photos of tgirls he’d met in the PI & Texas, was the Commander. I recall maybe 15 images, mostly non-nudes but the emails and traffic went crazy when they appeared on the site.
After some discussion with him via email we decided to try and get some original content for the site, The Commander took a trip to Laredo and mailed me rolls of 35mm film, which I then took to Joe’s Basement in London to have printed and manually scanned them into the PC - to get on the website. This was pre-digital camera days. The resulting photosets were the first TS content shot exclusively for an internet website as far as I am aware. This is where not only Shemale Yum started but pretty much the birth of every other gonzo photographer of TS material for online use - and by proxy, every other Transsexual porn site. Day Zero.
The Commander has been shooting for us for 10 years although in recent years he’s not produced as much content as he used to (not that he’s slowing down - but with Laredo practically closed, there are less tgirls to shoot in his area). I’ve visited with him a number of times and always have an adventure with him - my first visit to Boystown was a real eye opener - and shooting our first ever videos in Mexico was very exciting.
Many of the models he has worked with in Texas, like Tiffany aka Holly or Destinee are first photographed as non-full time girls yet many have blossomed into the stars they are today.
I’m sure The Commander will be working with us for many years to come - un-covering, the newest and freshest “transies” in his neck of the woods. A pioneer.

Our girl for the day, is a nice daytime everyday shoot of Bliss (aka Kylie) who first appeared on this site as a beautiful blonde babe and then reshot as a dark haired, diva!
Frank Drachman is the shooter of this and many of the N.W. coast girls who have made a huge addition to this site over the last few years. We’ll have more about him later in the month as well as exciting developments for those of you who love these punky, alternative type tgirls - or if you are one of the girls.

… Shemale Yum had been online for less than a year and I’d just started to gather material for Ladyboy Ladyboy so was looking for someone to aide me with it, in London, who could scan and correct the images. A quick interview over a couple of beers in a pub in central London, I discovered not only a fellow porn lover but who was soon to become one of my best friends.
Trigger and I have worked together for over 9 yrs, we’ve travelled to Brazil, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Cuba, across the US and back a few times together and has some laughs, some scrapes (not with each other), multiple parties and plenty of shemale related adventures. He’s seen his percentage of the company (first paycheck was 120 quid in cash) grow substantially with the business as he’s pushed the business forward with photography being something he’s always done more on the side.
I’m happy to see that he’s shooting more British tgirls for this site and it’s indictive of the scene that’s emerging in the UK, starting with Joanna Jet we now have more cuties like Becky, Jennifer English, Barbie, etc. and Trigger is helping to realize more models into Shemale Yum and the internet.
Everybody knows him as a throroughly nice chap, wouldn’t harm a fly but bewarned, if there is a problem with his tea, he will let you know. Transgender models interested in working with Trigger in the UK should contact him via Admin@grooby.com with information and photos.

Shatika is our girl of the day, only shot once for us but we plan to get more!
Black Tgirls was the fifth site in the Grooby portfolio (it now ranks as the fourth as Bob’s Tgirls broke away to pursue it’s own illustrious path) yet has been one of our most successful sites with some of the most dedicated members.
When Greg first suggested the idea of a site specifically showing black shemales I didn’t think it would work. Not because of the content matter but the fact that in 1998/1999 it was near impossible getting black models in the US to do photoshoots. We had featured some black models on Shemale Yum including the lovely Lisa Kage but the amount of models contacting us were few and far between. We set Tony Vee to work to try and dig out more models and commissioned some from Luiz in Brazil (although we were adamant that the site would not become a “Brazilian Black” website).
We now have over 600 unique models on Black Tgirls from the US, Canada, UK and Brazil and are contacted weekly by new models wanting to be part of the site. We have members who first joined in 1999 and are still with us.
For the first few years, the content was almost solely shot in the US by Tony Vee, Video Bob and Vegas Bob - we now have about 12 photographers shooting regularly for this site, including significantly, three black photographers producing some excellent content. We started regular hardcore shoots last year and this has strengthened the site and given more value for the membership dollar.
There is other black shemale content out there but if you are a fan of Black transgender adult content, there is no other outlet that comes close to Black Tgirls, just take a look at the previews!

Aly Sinclair has been a favourite on Shemale Yum since making her first appearance, courtesy of Tony Vee in 2005. She has a unique look, alternating between semi-goth and classy vixen (hey this is just my opinion!) and has just done her first hardcore scene for us, which appeared on 22nd July. You can see all her sets in Gallery 98 of the site but did you know that she also had her own site?
Hotties Unlimited, is edited and operated by Aly. She appears in her own exclusive sets and videos and interacts with members. It’s a very cool website and if you like this look of girl, get over there and check it out!
